<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the performance of a system controller which uses a plurality of CPUs. <P>SOLUTION: The system controller, in which a plurality of CPUs and a plurality of memories 2002 or IO devices 2127 to be connected together via a shared bus 2126 are connected together via a bus capable of separating read instructions from read data returns, includes a retaining means for retaining identification information for identifying the CPU that issued instructions, the destination of the instructions, and the CPU that is suspending transfer; an order control means which controls return data during reading according to the contents retained by the retaining means, so that the return data do not replace transfer instructions in terms of the order of issuing; and an issuing means by which transfers temporarily serialized and carried out via the shared bus are issued in parallel by use of a plurality of connection paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
