PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice coil motor connecting structure in which a voice coil motor can easily and stably be connected to a base plate. SOLUTION: The voice coil motor connecting structure has a counter bore 157 formed on a lower yoke 151 of the voice coil motor, a flat head screw 151 for fixing the lower yoke 151 to the base plate 110 by being inserted into the above counter bore 157 and engaged with an engagement hole 112 provided in the base plate 110 of HDD, boss insertion holes 165 formed at both longitudinal ends of the lower yoke 151 and the upper yoke 152, bosses 120 which are projectingly arranged on the base plate 110 and limit the horizontal movement of the lower yoke 151 and the upper yoke 152 by being inserted into the boss insertion holes 120, and screws 159 for fixing the upper yoke 152 to the lower yoke 151 by being inserted into the boss insertion holes and screw-threadably engaged with the screw-engagement holes 114 formed in the bosses 120.
