PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush holder capable of surely holding an energizing member by an energizing member holding surface of a brush case without increasing a cost. SOLUTION: A brush holder 10 is provided with a brush case 30 in which a brush 40 and a brush spring 50 are stored, a plate member 20 where the brush case 30 is provided, and a brush spring holding surface 33 which can be bent vertical to the energizing direction of the brush spring 50 is formed at the part of the brush case 30 opposite to a commutator 93. A protruding part 24 protruding upward from a brush arrangement surface 20a of the plate member 20 is formed at the part of the plate member 20 outside the part where the brush case 30 is provided. The brush spring holding surface 33 can be bent vertical to the energizing direction of the brush spring 50 and abutted on the protruding part 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
