PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and improve the usability of a portable brush of which ion generator is built in a main body case by rationally arranging devices for generating ions inside of foldable first and second cases. SOLUTION: The body case 1 is composed of a first case 3 and a second case 4 foldably and openably coupled to each other via a coupling rod 5. A transformer 11 and a discharge body 12 for generating negative ions are arranged inside the first case 3. The transformer 11 is arranged close to the coupling rod 5 in the first case 3. A battery 8 and a circuit board 9 including an ion generating circuit are arranged inside the second case 4. A discharge body 12 is arranged at the nearly central point of the first case 3.
