PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life organic electroluminescent element capable of restraining crystallization of a thin film layer formed of an organic compound without causing dispersion or irregularity in the luminescence. SOLUTION: A first electrode, the organic thin film layer having at least a layer formed of an organic luminescent material, and a second electrode are formed on a transparent substrate in that order, and a crystallization preventing layer is formed in the organic thin film layer part.
