摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power transmission efficiency of a transmission, and achieve compactness and cost reduction of the transmission by reducing an axial load applied to a bearing of the transmission. SOLUTION: A final deceleration small gear 49 engaged with a final deceleration large gear 48 connected to a drive wheel is fixed to a front wheel drive shaft 16. A driven helical gear 28 is engaged with a drive helical gear 27 fixed to a front wheel output shaft 26 to be installed on the front wheel drive shaft 16 to generate an axial load in the reverse direction to an axial load from the final deceleration small gear 49. Between the front wheel drive shaft 16 and the driven helical gear 28, a load transmission member 47 is provided to transmit the reverse direction axial load to the front wheel drive shaft 16. The driven helical gear 28 is supported by a bearing that will not bear the reverse direction axial load of the driven helical gear. The axial load generated from the final deceleration small gear 49 can thus be offset by an axial load in the reverse direction generated from the driven helical gear 28. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
