PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for a synthetic resin which can advantageously be applied to a synthetic resin composite material requiring for a high bending elasticity and a high impact resistance. SOLUTION: The filler contains composite particles wherein talc particles and calcium carbonate particles and/or titanium oxide particles are strongly adhered to one another, which are obtained by introducing powder of talc particles and powder of calcium carbonate particles and/or titanium oxide particles into a high speed circulating gas flow, whereby the talc particles and the calcium carbonate particles and/or the titanium oxide particles are pulverized into fine particles and brought into contact with one another.
