PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry sealing material which scarcely causes outgassing and is most suitable for use in OA equipment, communication equipment, a clean room and the like. SOLUTION: The sealing material is obtained by laminating an adhesive layer and a release paper for protecting the adhesive layer at least on one side of a sealing base material comprising an elastomer, wherein these constituent members scarcely cause outgassing, the elastomer forming the sealing base material comprises a foamed or unfoamed polyurethane or EPDM, the adhesive layer comprises an adhesive containing neither a silicone nor a solvent, and the release paper has a surface treated with a fluorinated coating material.
