PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the inner surface of a bead likely occurring during rim assembling. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided with a bead core 5 formed by winding a bead wire W into multiple layers in a bead. In the bead core 5, the bead wire W in an innermost layer i in the tire radius direction is formed of a corrugated wire 10 corrugated in the tire radius direction. The amplitude width A of peak to peak of the corrugated wire 10 is 0.5-0.9 mm, and a wavelength L is 0.05-0.15 times the inner peripheral length L0 of the bead wire W on the next layer n1 wound outside the corrugated wire.
