PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for direct drawing type planographic printing, which serves as a prinitng plate, prevents printing stains such as overall uniform scumming, has excellent water retention, reduces the elongation of the plate, has an excellent printing resistance by preventing a break in the plate, and is to be used for offset printing offering high image quality at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this original plate for the direct drawing type planographic printing, paper or a polyester film, wherein bond paper is covered with a resin, is used as a substrate, and an image receiving layer is provided with a coating layer including zinc oxide and a solvent-based resin.
