A device for testing a relay with a coil current circuit for controlling the relay coil and at least a circuit. The device comprises a relay mounting in which the relay is inserted so that its contacts are connected to the device. Startup and cut-off voltages are applied to the device and a coil current as well as burn-in current and burn-in voltage for all the circuits are determined.
