<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device for taking out a plurality of types of color with a specific color emitted from a light source, by amplifying the light by the resonance of light. <P>SOLUTION: A backlight 13 is in a bottom emission structure. A first electrode 24, an organic EL layer 25, a second electrode 26, a transparent buffer layer 27, and a reflecting mirror 28 are successively formed on a substrate 22 for sealing by a passivation film 29. The first electrode 24 and the second electrode 26 are formed in a half-mirror shape. With faces 24a, 26a at the side of the organic EL layer 25 in the first and second electrodes 24, 26 as reflecting surfaces, a first resonance layer 31 is composed. With surfaces 26b, 28a at the side of a buffer layer 27 in the second electrode 26 and the reflecting mirror 28 as reflection surfaces, a second resonance layer 32 is composed. Additionally, the third resonance layer 33 is composed with the surfaces 24a, 28a as reflecting surfaces. The first resonance layer 31, the second one 32, and the third one 33 are formed into thicknesses for making blue light, green light, and blue light, resonate respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
