<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immobilizer capable of suppressing the cost for installing anew and avoiding severance etc. of wiring tying an antenna to a circuit to be connected thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The immobilizer is equipped with the antenna 5 to transmit and receive signals to/from a transponder T installed in an ignition key IK, a high frequency circuit 7 to make high-frequency drive of the antenna 5 and decode the pass code signal received from the transponder T so as to obtain a pass code, a control circuit 8 to compare the decoded pass code with a pass code stored previously and admit the engine start of the vehicle only when they are identical, and a circuit board 2 furnished at least with the high frequency circuit 7, wherein the antenna 5 and the circuit board 2 are accommodated in a case 1 with the antenna 5 fixed onto the board 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
