PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cost reduction, the easiness of recycling, the noncombustibility and easiness of installation with weight reduction, to reduce the damage of a collided object with high shock absorbing performance and to facilitate the change of shock absorbing performance to suitably dissolve a rebounding phenomenon. SOLUTION: The shock absorbing material 3 formed of a honeycomb structure body, and liquid 4 are stored in a metal container 2. The shock absorbing material 3 is disposed so that the axial direction of the honeycomb structure body is placed in a vertical direction. The container 2 is composed of an outer frame 2a and a lid 2b. The lid 2b is fixed to the upper face of the outer frame 2a after storing the shock absorbing material 3 and liquid 4. The lid 2b is provided with an opening 2c, and a safety valve 5 is mounted to cover the opening 2c. The safety valve 5 is fixed to the lid 2b by a fastener 6 such as a screw. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
