PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge which can enhance an incorporating nature of a shielding member and an energizing member into a case. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 is provided with a nearly rectangular case 12 which rotatably accommodates a single reel 14 wound and loaded with a recording tape T; an aperture 20 formed in the case 12 for pulling out a leader member 22 mounted on an edge section of the recording tape T; a shielding member 50 which opens and closes the aperture 20 by sliding; and an energizing member 56 which energizes the shielding member 50 in a blocked direction of the aperture 20.A support means 54A which supports the energizing member 56 in a cantilever state at a section to be mounted 54 of the energized member 56 set in the shielding member 50.
