A plastic clip made conductive by the incorporation of conductive particles therein, is clamped onto the jacket of metal automotive vehicle tubing so that projections on the clip penetrate through the jacket to engage the outer surface of the metal tube. The clip body is welded to the jacket to hermetically seal the region of contact between the clip and the metal.
