A pressure adjustment device (23) is provided with a valve plug (82) for reducing the pressure of a pressure fluid based on the clearance between it and a seat part (94). A rod (86) has a seal (89) to be displaced together with the valve plug, and a spring element (76) which is attached to one end of the rod, to press the plug onto an annular projection (92) on the inside wall surface of a first valve body (12). When the secondary pressure supplied from a secondary connection (30) is balanced by the biasing force of the spring element, the valve assumes a closed state, and the plug rests on the seat part. An independent claim is included for a pressure or flow-rate control valve.
