The tank for holding liquids, and especially a private motor vehicle's fuel tank, is characterized by a decreased gas loading during filling as the holding container (2) installed inside a protective casing (1) is made of flexible material which is compressed by outside air pressure during the removal of liquid so that no outside air can flow into the tank. The protective casing has one or more openings (3) at one or more points through which air can escape from or flow into the space (4) between the inner holding container and outer protective casing.
