<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly remove water invaded from the gap between a front door weather strip, a front door panel and an opening seal out of a vehicle at the time of closing the front door in a pillarless automobile. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure consists of a side wall 13 having a top wall 11, a back wall 12, an upper broad width part 13a, and a lower narrow width part 13b, and a weather strip 10 is mounted elastically contacting to an opening seal 6 mounted on a body panel 1. A water reservoir 14 consisting of a receiving part 14a and a passage part 14b located at the gap G produced between the wall 13, the front door panel 2, and the opening seal 6 from the front end on the broad width part 13a at the time of door closing, and a water drain hole 15 communicating the passage part 14b to an internal space 2a of the front door panel 2 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
