<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strictly manage the history of an editing operation in revising operations of law and regulations, in publications of books and in compliance with the requirement that the history of revision of documents, for example, law documents, patent documents, industrial regulation documents, various manuals, specifications, descriptions, business regulation documents, in-house rules documents be managed strictly. <P>SOLUTION: Data representing the documents to be revised in a XML format as a tree structure corresponding to a volume, chapter, section, item, article, clause, issue and so on are constituted in the storage device of a computer. A unique revised ID and an attribute, representing the kind of the revision, are given as a paired list structure to an element, equivalent to node of the tree-structure data each time the revision is made, and a pre-revision original sentence is stored in the element, and then the revising operation of the element is carried out by using the information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
