PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faster network relay device by detecting a change in an encryption key on a network and transmitting the result to a receiver side relay device as a key revision notice signal. SOLUTION: The network relay device is provided with: a first interface 11 connected to a first network N and for transmitting contents information encrypted by key information; a second interface 12 connected to a second network M and transmitting the contents information to the receiver side network relay device; and notice sections 15, 16, 17 for detecting revision of the key information and notifying the receiver side network relay device about the key revision notice signal.
