PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker with a low profile applicable to various acoustic devices for improving the quality without losing the magnetic efficiency. SOLUTION: The speaker employs a yoke 1 with a bottom on the wall face of which a plurality of radial slits 1a are formed, an insertion hole 15f is formed to a bridging part 15c of a coupling 15 having a reinforcing piece 15d vertically moved in the slits 1a, and a notch 15g acting like a positioning means for voice coil leads 4a is formed to a flange 15e. Then the voice coil leads 4a are led out along the reinforcing piece 15d in close contact thereto and the leads 4a can be located into the slits 1a without widening the width of the slits 1a so as to suppress decrease in the magnetic efficiency and exposure of the leads 4a on the surface of the coupling 15, and the excellent speaker can be provided, wherein a fault such as a broken wire due to contact with other components is avoided.
