PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory rewrite system for realizing the miniaturization and cost reduction of electronic equipment and easily performing the rewrite operation of a non-volatile memory installed in the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A memory rewrite system 1 is provided with electronic equipment 3 having a non-volatile memory 11 in which data are stored, and a memory writer 2 for rewriting the data of the non-volatile memory 11. The electronic equipment 3 is provided with a display device 17 for displaying an image corresponding to its use condition. When the rewrite of the non-volatile memory 11 is normally completed, the background color of the picture of the display device 17 is turned to be blue, and when not, the background color of the picture of the display device 17 is turned to be red.
