PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to specify a part to be measured, regardless of the shape of an object to be measured. SOLUTION: By projecting red light directed toward an inside area of a measuring region P from a light-projecting element 14, based on control by an irradiation control circuit 15, prior to measurement on the outer diameter by a control circuit 13, a measuring person can visually recognize the light reflected by the part to be measured B. Therefore, since it is possible to match the part to be measured B of the object to be measured A with the measurement area, it is possible to previously verify a part to be measured, on which measurement is to be performed and to measure it; even if the diameter of the object to be measured A gradually varies, the outer diameter with the part to be measured B accurately grasped can be measured.
