PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems with a conventional elastic joint that discomfortable noise such as gear tooth hitting noise is produced in a low torque area when variation in torque or rotation of a prime mover is increased when the elastic coupling with a specified spring constant is disposed between the prime mover and a working machine, and when the spring constant of the elastic coupling is large, a variation in output of the prime mover cannot be efficiently absorbed in a high torque range. SOLUTION: In this elastic coupling connecting an engine 2 to a drive device 3, drive side projections 14 and driven side projections 15 from a flange 12 forming a drive side body and a pipe 9 are alternately disposed, a rubber body 13 is disposed between the drive side projections 14 and the driven side projections 15, and an energizing body 21 is installed between the flange 12 and the pipe 9.
