PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft for a pipe-jacking construction work in which an earth retaining wall constituting the shaft has starting and arrival pit mouths and which has the earth retaining wall (an earth retaining panel) that also serves as a bearing wall for receiving propulsive reaction and has a displacement means for effectively utilizing passive earth pressure. SOLUTION: In the shaft A for the pipe-jacking construction work in which the square-shaped earth retaining panels are built on a square cylindrical frame-shaped lower earth retaining-panel unit B assembled by a sliding fitting means and the upper earth retaining panels C in a mode similarly assembled in a square cylindrical frame shape are built in a square cylindrical shape under a state that the panels C are connected successively in the building direction, bearing panels 1 having the displacement means in the propulsive line G direction are arranged on the lower earth retaining panel unit B, and pit-mouth plates 3 drilled by a pipe-jacking machine M left in soil in the case of pull-out removal are installed to the bearing panels 1.
