ZINC-CONTAINING SLURRY TREATMENT APPARATUS AND TREATMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus in which classification performance is enhanced and a problem such as closure does not occur for solving the problem that fluidity as a slurry is not good and the closure or the like could easily occur in a method for treating zinc-containing dust by a wet cyclone of single stage. SOLUTION: The slurry 1 containing the zinc-containing dust is firstly classified by the wet cyclone 2 of the first stage and zinc mainly existing as a fine particle is separated as an overflow 3 of the first stage. Iron and non-separated zinc are mainly contained in an underflow 4 of the first stage. The underflow 4 of the first stage is further classified by a wet cyclone 5 of the second stage (having different classification performance from the wet cyclone of the first stage) and zinc is separated as an overflow 6 of the second stage. The slurry containing the high concentration zinc-containing dust obtained in the overflow 3 of the first stage and the overflow 6 of the second stage is dehydrated and mixed/molded to make a molded material.
