PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction implement for a vacuum cleaner, for washing a rotary brush dirtied by cleaning work and even a case part for disposing the rotary brush therein with water by user's simple operation to perform cleaning always in the clean state of the suction implement, and a vacuum cleaner using it. SOLUTION: This suction implement includes a case part A66 for disposing a driving means 55 for driving the rotary brush 54 therein, and a case part B41 for disposing the rotary brush 54 therein. The case part A66 and the case part B41 are separated from each other, whereby the connection between the driving means and the rotary brush 54 can be released so as to perform cleaning always in the clean state of the suction implement.
