<p>A gas laser oscillator having a greatly increased laser output. The gas laser oscillator comprises an air-permeable shielding plate arranged in a laser gas passage. By suppressing and smoothing pulsation of a laser gas in a discharge tube, a great increase in the laser output can be realized.</p>
