The line network has a central back-up current supply and a number of end current circuits for the emergency lighting, normally supplied via the mains current, with switching to the back-up current supply upon failure of the latter. The current supply line (1) is coupled to the end current circuits via a distributor (6), provided with overcurrent protection fuses (S1,S2,S3,S4) for each of the end current circuits.
