摘要 The device for sealing a gap (7) between rotating and stationary components (2,3) of a rotary flow machine has a honeycomb structure (9,10) on the respective oppositely disposed surface sections (5,6) each side of the gap. The cells of one honeycomb structure differ from the cells of the other by way of differing cross sectional shape and/or cross sectional surface and/or wall thickness. The cells of both honeycomb structures have straight wall sections running parallel to one another, and the honeycomb structures are fitted on the surface sections so that at least some of the straight wall sections extend in the circumferential direction.
