<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary-color image formed by a plurality of ink having a different hue and excellent in light resistance and gas resistance, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises a step for forming a black image on a material to be recorded by overlapping cyan ink, magenta ink and yellow ink, where the cyan ink is aqueous cyan ink comprising a phthalocyanine dye represented by general formula (I) and an amine compound having a vapor pressure of at least 0.01 mmHg (20-25°C) as an aqueous medium. In general formula (I), CuPc is a copper phthalocyanine residue; M is an alkali metal or ammonium; x is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and y is 0, 1, 2 or 3, provided that the dye having x and y satisfying x+y≤2 is not contained or is not substantially contained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
