<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical drop cable whose diameter is small and which is excellent in loss property and in workability and also which can be wired efficiently in a condominium which needs many lines and which reduces wiring cost. <P>SOLUTION: A multiple optical fiber drop cable 1 is provided with an optical element part 5 of long length in which a coated optical fiber 3 which consists of a single optical fiber or a plurality of optical fibers or optical fiber tapes, an intervention body 15 which consists of a heat-resistant plastic yarn, organic series yarn or inorganic yarn which are added vertically in order to surround the coated optical fiber 3 and tension bodies 17 which are positioned near the fiber 3 and are parallel with with the fiber 3 and are arranged at both sides of the fiber 3 are covered with a cable sheath 19 and notched parts 21 are formed on the surface of the cable sheath 19 in both sides of the intervention body 15 in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which respective tension bodies 17 for optical element are connected. The plural lines of the optical element part 5 are arranged at surroundings of a supporting wire part 7.
