<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft capable of releasing the locally generated stress concentration, while keeping the strength of a shaft part itself, and to provide a method of easily manufacturing the shaft. <P>SOLUTION: This shaft is provided with a spline part 14, and a large part 11 having a diameter larger than a diameter of an outer peripheral edge of the spline part 14 on its outer peripheral face, and a shaft part having a tapered part 12 is formed on a side face at a spline part 14 side, of the large part 11. The tapered part 12 locks a fitting member fitted to the spline part 14. In this shaft part 10, a cut part 14b formed on an end part at a large part 11 side, of the spline part 14 and the tapered part 12 are connected through a first round part 13a, a flat part 15 and a second round part 13b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
