<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily portable power-generating set that utilizes both the heat of evaporation and the heat of combustion of liquified gas. <P>SOLUTION: The power-generating set comprises: a liquified gas cylinder 1; a gas pipe 2 that makes fuel gas fed from the liquified gas cylinder 1 pass; a burner 3 that burns the fuel gas vaporized through the gas pipe 2; and a heat accumulation body 4 that accumulates the heat of combustion by receiving flames of the burner 3. A low-temperature part 5 cooled by the heat of evaporation of the fuel gas is arranged at the middle of the gas pipe 2, and a thermoelectric module 6 that generates power by a temperature difference between the heat accumulation body 4 and the low-temperature part 5 is arranged between the low-temperature part 5 and the heat accumulation body 4 via, for example, a thermal conductive member 11. The heat of the heat accumulation body 4 is transmitted to the thermal conductive member 11 by the heat pipe 9, and the high-temperature side of the thermoelectric module 6 is kept at a high temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
