PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, with good work efficiency, color toner which is free from a charge control agent and has excellent color reproducibility. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a charge control agent-free color toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant has a starting material mixing step, a melting and kneading step, a comminuting step and a classifying step.
