PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which crossbar-like data propagation is stalled and data are provided incessantly in releasing the stall. SOLUTION: A plurality of computing operators OP, FIFO registers and crossbar circuits 13125 corresponding to the operators are divided over a plurality of stages STG and either on the input side or the output side of a stage of each crossbar circuit, a collision prevention device CPD is provided for preventing collision of signals based on transferred signal delay. Each stage has a FIFO control part FCTL for controlling write to the FIFO, and a write busy control part WRBC for asserting a busy signal from the FIFO control signal and a busy signal from the post-stage and a busy signal inputted based upon a signal for stalling write data to the FIFO and for outputting the signals to all the stages and/or the collision prevention device located on the input side.
