PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the burn-in prevention control to be originally done cannot be properly performed, since a change in display condition is determined as large for a whole screen in spite of the presence of an almost motionless scene in one screen, in a screen display controller that simultaneously displays at least one or more kinds of input image signals in one screen. SOLUTION: The controller is equipped with a display condition detection means 106 which detects a change in the display condition of each image display position in one screen and an image display position control means 108 which moves each image display position. Among the changes in the display condition detected by the detecting means 106, if the changing quantity of the display condition of at least one image display position in one screen becomes a prescribed threshold value or less for a prescribed time, each image display position is moved by the control means 108, with burn-in prevention properly processed while the change in viewing state is suppressed as little as possible.
