PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy, highly efficient hot-repair process of a carbonization chamber wall in a coke oven to perform hot-repair of the coke oven. SOLUTION: In the hot-repair process, a worker enters an insulated box established inside a carbonization chamber of the coke oven to repair the carbonization chamber wall. Here, an elevation post 8 is vertically established near a furnace cover in the coke oven, an elevation frame 9 horizontally extending into the carbonization chamber of the coke oven is established on the elevation post 8 in a manner enabling its elevation, and the insulated box 1 is established in a manner enabling its horizontal movement on the elevation frame. The vertical movement of the elevation frame 9 and the horizontal movement of the insulated box 1 enables the worker to perform repair at any given site inside the carbonization chamber.
