PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable transplanter solving the problems involved in conventional walking-type vegetable transplanters that because of no illuminator equipped, a relevant operator might misoperate a transplanter, leading to planting position's getting out of place and/or ridge damage, and because an illuminator needs to be prepared separately for illumination, operating efficiency is poor with much labor required. SOLUTION: The vegetable transplanter has the following structure and mechanism: A seedling feed section 7 is mounted on a machine body frame, and seedlings are charged from the seedling feed section 7 into a transplanting tine 49, which, in turn, is moved onto ridges to transplant the seedlings; and illuminators 33 and 55 are set up above the seedling feed section 7 or a chassis.
