PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for sealing a liquid crystal which maintains adhesive property, adhesion reliability after being left to stand for a long time under a high temperature and high humidity condition, electro-optical characteristics of a liquid crystal and characteristics such as not to generate alignment disorder of the liquid crystal, and to provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel, by which the panel is manufactured within a short period of time via a liquid crystal dropping process using the resin composition for sealing the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: The resin composition for sealing the liquid crystal is obtained by making a photo- and thermosetting resin composition contain a thermoplastic polymer with 50-120°C softening point obtained by copolymerizing a (meth)acrylate monomer and a monomer which is copolymerizable therewith.
