The invention relates to a food container (1), especially a can, with at least one chamber (2) for receiving perishable foodstuffs. The volume of said chamber (2) is less than one litre. In order to enable portioning and partial removal of foodstuffs from the container (1), at least one other chamber (3) is provided for receiving said foodstuff or another foodstuff; the volume of the other chamber (3) is less than one litre; the chamber (2) and the other chamber (3) are provided with their own opening areas (5,6); the chambers (2,3) when closed are separated from each other and the environment in an airtight manner, and the chambers are detachably and/or non-detachably connected to each other. At least one front face and/or outer surface of adjacent chambers (2,3), when joined, are disposed in a directly adjacent position with respect to each other or are preferably disposed in direct contact with each other. |
