The refrigeration unit has a compartment (4) for a group of compressors bounded by a frame (3) capable of supporting several ventilation units (24) arranged adjacent to each other on top of the compartment. The frame comprises a supporting arrangement which is designed to support the assembly of modules which are mounted on the frame. A supporting chassis (20) is attached to the top of the frame. The frame is a parallelepiped made of metal profiles.
