To take off thermal energy from a cold water circuit, heated by a heat-generating user and preferably a plastics injection mold, an integrated air circuit gives a simultaneous drying of the ambient air around the mold. Heat is taken from the ambient air and transferred to the cold water and evaporation circuit. Lost heat is used to raise the air temperature. The condenser in the refrigeration unit, of the cold water circuit, is further cooled, and increasing the over-heating in the evaporator reduces the energy take-up in the cold water circuit. The ambient mold air is dried continuously, without requiring a condensation collector. The assembly has a compressor (1) and an evaporator (10), and air drying with a cold water cooler (103), an evaporator (104) and a condenser cooler (105).
