The heat treating frame, to carry small components in batches through a kiln, has a rectangular base plate with vertical posts (2) in holders at the corners. The posts are locked together by holders across the direction of travel, and longitudinal beams (4) with saw tooth structures (7) at their upper (5) and/or lower (6) edges. The upper beams are inserted loosely into the uppermost ends of the posts. Apart from the uppermost one, the ends of the beams can be removed upwards in a holder at the posts.
