The standardized, self-supporting support structure for single or multi-story buildings of prefabricated individual components (1,6,7) of steel or reinforced concrete is designed in such a way that a structure is created which can be expanded at any time in the horizontal and vertical extents by direct connecting of additional modules to a base module without additional rough construction work being necessary. The vertical load bearing capability in the floor planes is guaranteed by the flexually rigid connecting of the floor beams by means of standard junction points (5) into a girder grill.
