A ventilating device, especially for self-ventilating electric motors comprises a fan wheel (FR) with vanes (F) fixed to a hub (N). At least one vane and/or the hub comprises a temperature-dependent material which can alter the angle of inclination of the vane according to temperature. An Independent claim is also included for a production process for the above including bimetallic strips to change the angle.
