<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide door sealing structure for sealing a door frame on a door opening edge and a vehicle body panel of an automobile with durability and good appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This door sealing structure for an automobile includes a flange portion 15 for joining a side wall on the inner vehicle side of a channel of a door frame 1 and a leading end of an inner panel of the door frame 1, a projected portion 13 extended toward the inner vehicle side from the flange portion 15 and a recessed portion 14 placed near the leading end of the portion 13, where the flange portion 15 and the recessed portion 14 of the projected portion 13 are covered with a cover member with its end contained in the recessed portion 14. Consequently, the projected portion 13 of the door frame 1 is prevented from being seen from the vehicle inside and the end of the cover member and a hollow seal portion 42 of an opening weather strip are prevented from being in contact with each other, which preventing wearing of the hollow seal portion 42 and enabling improvement in durability and good appearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
