<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device at a low price which prevents white streaks due to an ink jetting twist as the cause of a great image quality failure. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording device, image recording is carried out to a material to be recorded by relatively moving the material to be recorded and a printing head arranged with a plurality of ink jetting nozzles, and by jetting ink droplets from the ink jetting nozzles on the basis of image information. The inkjet recording device has a colored ink jetting means for jetting a colored ink, a process liquid jetting means for jetting a process liquid with no compatibility with the colored ink, and a judging means for judging whether the process liquid is to be jetted or not on the basis of hitting position information of the colored ink. In the case where the judging means judges that the process liquid is to be jetted, the process liquid jetting means applies liquid droplets of the process liquid to the vicinity of an ideal hitting position on the material to be recorded where a colored pixel is to be formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
