<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business form format definition method capable of performing an automatic data input and output, for a business form format having a derivative area that is a second data entry section in one cell, with another business form format or data file by a simple business form format defining operation with high visible confirmability. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises the step of performing an item definition for conforming data or a data field to an item name in the business form format; and the step of designating a differential condition that is the entry condition naturally possessed by the derivative area to a main area that is the first entry section in one cell to the data file provided in the derivative area that is the second data entry area in the same cell. Based on the designated item definition and differential condition, the data to be simultaneously referred in the data input and output of a business form, or a record that is an assembly of data entry sections is identified with respect to each derivative area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
